Welcome to Faculty of Business Administration – UMST
The Faculty of Business Administration was established in 2003 to train a new
breed of modern, creative and innovative business graduates in Sudan. The
curriculum of the Faculty of Business Administration is designed to equip students
with up to date business knowledge and skills in a range of specializations such as
General Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting and Finance. This has
given our graduates a competitive edge in the labor market in leading companies in
Sudan and the Middle East such as DAL Group, Araak, Morrouj, Kenana Sugar
Company, Zain, MTN, UNILEVER, Ernst and Young, United Nations, NGOs,
Banks and Insurance companies, among others. Recently, The Faculty of Business
Administration was recognized by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK
as an Affiliate Member; the first university in Sudan to gain this recognition.
Mission:
The mission of the faculty is to serve our society in Sudan by producing modern,
creative and innovative administrative and financial science graduates. The courses
are designed to enable students to conduct modern business using the latest
advances in science and technology.
Faculty Vision:
Our vision is that the Faculty of Business Administrative will be the leading
Business Faculty in Sudan, Africa and the Middle East in the near future.
Activities:
Students are expected to participate effectively in all faculty activities. Student exchanges, fairs and training opportunities are among activities which link the faculty with the wider community. Graduate research is a key factor in evaluating and promoting these potential entrepreneurs together with other relevant fields. Students in professional and community services programs are linked to community problems and are required to take field trips and enable empowerment and assessment programs in rural areas. A set of public lectures to discuss current issues and professional topics is one of the major faculty activities.
Objectives:
The objective of the Faculty of Business Administration is to be a leading business faculty in Sudan, Africa and the Middle East in the near future.
Course Phases :
The undergraduate courses are designed to enable students to conduct modern business using the latest advances in science and technology. The major specialisations of the undergraduate program are:
