University of Medical Sciences and Technology (UMST) is committed to protect your confidentiality according to this policy which is applied to persona defining information collected by the university through its website, but not applied to the information gotten by the university in any other way. Your use of the website is subject to confidentiality policy and to usage conditions set by UMST.

UMST maintains the right to change this confidentiality policy from time to time, while these amendments will be in effect once they are published by the University on this website. Electronic Payment System:-

UMST delivers the service of electronic payment on the internet, you can pay your study fees either wholly or in installment by electronic credit card or transferring on the bank account. The electronic payment is one of the new and favorite ways of payment, particularly when you are assured that all your own information is carried out very safely.

You can pay the study fees for the study class you are registered in, with safely using the electronic credit card through electronic payment system, knowing that the system is available at any time.

P.S, kindly notify the following explanations regarding the electronic payment system and its relation with registration of study courses:

  • A student can be unrestrictedly registered for study courses, provided that the due financial sums he is burdened with are less than $100 or 4000 SDG.
  • given some banking restrictions, no payment through electronic system is allowed if the paid amount is less than $3.

UMST also provides cash payment system, where the student can go to the exchequer inside the campus and receive his money.

Policy to Refund the Paid Money:-

Money will be refunded to the account the sums of money are drawn on according to the conditions and rules within 7 work days as of the request of reimbursement is submitted.

Cancellation and refund of the paid money:

General Policy

On booking through the UMST’s website, you agree on and accept the policy of cancellation and refund of the specifically relevant paid money, besides agreeing on further conditions and rules from the payment site accredited by the University.

Cancellation and refund of the paid money:

  • The UMST’s policy of cancellation and complete refund is generally available on the university website. Accordingly, 100% of the due and completely paid fees will be refunded in case of cancellation within at least 10 days before commencement of study program. The University will not refund application fees, administrative fees or banking remittance fees.
  • Within a fortnight of cancellation, the university may deduct a part of 20% of study fees.

Policy of Cancellation and Refund of the Paid Money:

  • Cancellation before submitting formal application to the university:
  • In case of cancellation, we will reimburse 100% of the paid money before you apply formal application to the university, except for credit card fees or banking remittance fees.

 

  • Cancellation after submitting formal application to education provider: We will reimburse the total paid amount except for administrative fees (equivalent to $100) in case of submitting formal application to the university.
  • Additional fees, such as banking remittance fees or express mail fees, may be imposed in case of applying formal application by express mail.

 

Cancellation when the Visa Unallowed: 

  • If you are not allowed to be given a visa, you need to immediately inform us since, if we are not informed two weeks before the beginning of the study program of the university, the money paid will not be reimbursed.
  • If the entry visa to the Sudan, in the case of the Bachelor for which your attendance is stipulated, is not allowed, the formal documents by which the application is rejected should be sent to us before we review the refund of the paid money.
  • In case that the documents are not received, no any money will be repaid, so you need to send these photo scanned documents to your educational advisor through the email.
  • An order will be issued as to reimbursement of the paid money and residence fees, with the bank fees and/ or credit card fees being deducted.
  • If the visa is unallowed and/ or cancelled due to making no personal attendance or attending the study.
  • If the official of the embassy or consulate believes that you are not a student of good will or not a real student and, therefore, obtaining the visa or entering the country targeted for the study is not allowed.
  • If the student leaves the country during the study course and he is not admitted to re-enter it.
  • If any information are counterfeited.

Termination policy

  • On booking through the university website, you agree on and accept the policy of cancellation and reimbursement of the paid money. This agreement means you stop or leave all or part of the study once lecturing starts.
  • If you decide to end your study, at any time after the date when study begins, no fees of the study, lodging or booking will be repaid by the university.
  • Termination is considered as violation of termination policy of the university.
  • If you are interested in ending your own study, you need to contact your educational advisor, in writing, before at least two weeks so that the paid money can be restored.
