UMST Receives Successful Secondary Schools Certificate Students and their families
The University of Medical Sciences and Technology received this morning on Thursday 6/10/2022, at the Global Conference Center a sizable number of students who wish to join the university and their families. The event took place in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Hassan Al-Hajj Ali, Tariq Ali, the University Principal, Dr. Siham Muhammad Suleiman, Director of Academic Affairs, the Deans of Faculties and Directors The centers and host of the University students.
Professor Hassan Haj Ali – President of the University welcomed the guests and students who intend to join the university. He stated that they are approaching an important phase of their lives, as they are now by moving from general education to higher education. Professor Haj Ali emphasized the excellence of the university in terms of academic programs and scientific research. In addition, he alerted the listeners to university environment, indicating that the curricula are taking into account the importance of modern technologies development ins teaching at the university.
In the same context came the contribution of Dr. Sami Ibrahim, the Assistant Director of Affairs, and Ms. Wojdan Hashem, Director of the Admission Department who talked about the application system for admission, the tuition fees and grants, as well as various courses offered by the university.
Dr. Siham Suleiman, the Director of Academic Affairs explained the tasks assumed by of the Academic Affairs in the course of presenting a historical record of the university. She also provided an enlightenment about the different faculties in terms of the number of graduates, the academic degrees awarded by each faculty, and the entry percentages required for admission to the various faculties. Dr Suleiman also pointed out that the university boasts international recognition and received praise for its academic system, and added that there are scholarships offered to the students who rank first every level. She maintained that in addition to the awards offered to those who achieve the highest marks in the basic subjects, there is also recognition of best research efforts. She stated that the university conducts an assessment process for students by external examiners from all countries.
Dr. Ahmed Babiker, Dean of Student Affairs, spoke about university life, stressing the deanship’s interest in extra-curricular activities, and allocating resources to allow students to practice various sports. He also pointed out the existence of a gym equipped with the latest sports equipment available to students of both sexes and inside the university buildings.
Mrs. Clara Fayez, Director of Marketing Department at Dal Company for Food Industries (Cabo) emphasized the excellence of the graduates from the university, and she talked about her experience with the university’s graduates, as four graduates of the Faculty of Business Administration are working in her department. She maintained that they are continuously demonstrating their readiness to work and to distinguish themselves from others by good communication, confidence and the ability to engage in work quickly and competently.

جامعة العلوم الطبية والتكنولوجيا تستقبل الطلاب الناجحين واسرهم في إمتحان الشهادة الثانوية في يوم الطالب

استقبلت جامعة العلوم الطبية والتكنولوجيا صباح اليوم الخميس الموافق م6/10/2022 بالمركز العالمي للمؤتمرات بالجامعة بحضور السيد/ رئيس الجامعة بروفسور / حسن الحاج علي ، و أ/ طارق علي وكيل الجامعة ، ود/ سهام محمد سليمان – أمين الشؤون العلمية والسادة عمداء الكليات ومدراء المراكز وطلاب الجامعة استقبلت الطلاب الذين يودون الالتحاق بالجامعة واسرهم
حيث رحب بروفسور/ حسن حاج علي – رئيس الجامعة بالضيوف والطلاب الذين ينون الالتحاق بالجامعة كما أفاد أنها نقلة مهمه للطلاب في حياتهم وفي نظام التعليم بالانتقال من التعليم العام إلى التعليم العالي مبينا تميز الجامعة من حيث البرامج الاكاديمية والبحوث العلمية إضافة إلى البيئة الجامعية مبينا ان المناهج يتم فيها مراعاة المواكبة للتقنيات الحديثة والتطور التكنولوجي في التدريس بالجامعة
وفي ذات السياق تحدث كل من د/ سامي إبراهيم – مساعد أمين الشؤون العلمية و أ/ وجدان هاشم – مدير إدارة القبول عن نظام التقديم للقبول وضوابط القبول العامة والرسوم الدراسية ، تحدثت أ/ وجدان عن خطوات الاساسية للتقديم بجامعة العلوم الطبية والتكنولوجيا كما تحدثت عن المنح الدراسية المختلفة التي تقدمها الجامعة
د/ سهام محمد سليمان – أمين الشؤون العلمية أوضحت مهام أمانة الشؤون العلمية وقدمت فذلكة تاريخية للجامعة ، كما قدمت تنويراً عن الكليات المختلفة من حيث عدد الخريجين والدرجة العلمية التي تمنح من كل كلية والنسب المؤهلة للقبول بالكليات المختلفة بالإضافة للإعترافات العالمية للجامعة ونظامها الدراسي ، وأضافت أن هناك منحة تقدم للطالب الذي يحرز المرتبة الأولى في كل سنة بالإضافة للجوائز والشهادات التي تقدم للذين يحرزون أعلى الدرجات في المواد الأساسية وأفضل بحث ، وأفادت أن الجامعة تجري عملية تقييم للطلاب بواسطة الممتحنيين الخارجيين من كافة الدول
تحدث د/ أحمد بابكر – عميد شؤون الطلاب عن الحياة الجامعية مؤكدا على إهتمام العمادة بالانشطة اللاصفية وتخصص للطلاب ملاعب رياضية لممارسة كافة الرياضات بالإضافة إلى وجود نادي رياضي مجهز بأحدث الأجهزة الرياضية متاح للطلاب من الجنسين وداخل مباني الجامعة
كما افادت أ/ كلارا فائز – مدير قسم التسويق بشركة دال للصناعات الغذائية (كابو) عن تميز الخريجين من الجامعة وعكست تجربتها مع خريجي الجامعة حيث تراس في القسم أربعة من خريجي كلية إدارة الأعمال. ، موضحة جاهزيتهم للعمل وتميزهم عن الآخرين بالتواصل الجيد والثقة والقدرة على الانخراط في العمل بشكل سريع
