UMST currently offers 25 graduate programmes and doctorate and master’s degrees by research in all disciplines taught at UMST.
Our vision and mission is geared towards teaching the associated skills that are central to practice. These skills take many hours to acquire and are taught within our full time programs and within our short course programmes. The environment and delivery of knowledge and skills offered at UMST present a clear and fantastic opportunity for people who desire to learn. We emphasise why social sciences, new technologies and scientific knowledge are important for how to solve problems in a professional context. Our delivery of competence and knowledge in any specific area is concomitant with a greater understanding of the offered subjects. This is why we are considered an increasingly rare commodity.
Our activities include introduction of new technologies in postgraduate teaching, interactive and problem – based teaching. It is our conviction that research methodology, bio-statistics and epidemiology are core to the success of any postgraduate programs.
Our graduate programmes are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Our Master degree in Pharmacology is approved by the American Educational Credential Evaluators. We are also affiliated with the National Ministry of Health, United Nations University in Malaysia, University of Science Malaysia. The academic effort and excellence of UMST highly qualified staff is supplemented by visiting professors from top-of-the-line institutions and the corporate world.
